The Rise of the Millennials (Generation Y)

The Baby Boomers have long been discussed as a major force in the workplace because of their numbers.  There is another large and new generation on the rise that businesses will have to understand and engage to be successful in the future.

They are known as the Millennials (or Generation Y). Born between 1980 and 2000, Millennials will replace have replaced the Baby Boomers as the largest generation in the workforce. The attention parents gave to their Milennial children has given these workers unique work expectations.
