What is Bold Leadership?

This is a great quote from the designer of the artificial heart. It makes sense that a visionary leader does not live in fear. Fear is paralyzing and a fearful individual will never act at all-particularly in the face of adversity. It is not that effective leaders are oblivious to fear they just do not accept it as an acceptable outcome. Visionary leaders are not foolish. They know the odds against them; they just do not accept them! Vision and fear are not compatible.
