Possessing the necessary intelligence and having the right leadership ethics are important attributes for effective management and leadership. Managers will also need to communicate effectively if they want to lead their teams. It’s hard for team members to follow their manager if he or she does not communicate clearly and regularly with them. And, it’s hard for team members to follow their manager if he or she does not listen to them.
You have the technical skills and the right ethics to lead your team. To be truly exceptional as a leader, communicate often and communicate well with your team. And, remember that effective communication is always two ways.
